    Total waste of money! Wouldn't be bad if it stayed on the gun but it won't. It falls right off.

    The plastic does not sit on the end of the stock as it is probably warped. The clips do not hold it in place. Bad design using plastic.

    Great addition to the gun. Snaps in to place then snug up the allen bolt for a tight fit. Way better front sight protection when folded.

    WOW, It totally makes the Sub2K more comfortable. A MUST HAVE!!! The comments about it falling off are weird, mine stays on very securely during shooting and folding! If you don't have one, GET ONE!

    Mine was falling off too until I realized I didnt have it installed quite right. Now it is locked in and works great. I really like how it protects the front sight.

    As others haved stated, it falls off all the time. I just leave mine off now, it was becoming a PITA.

    Fit on the gun perfectly until I got to the range. After about 20 rounds it just fell right off. Every time I put it back on, it would fall off again after a dozen rounds.

    Slipped right in place and stays there. Makes the gun fit a grown-up. Shoud have came with the gun.

    Easy install no problem then slipped a Small Limbsaver buttstock pad from Walmart over it and waaa-laaa my Sub9 is where I want it.
    Good addition, should have been supplied as original equipment!

    A must have for comfort, extends your rifle just enough to be perfect (for me at least). Also helps stock line up nicely

    On and off easily. Adds right amnt. Helps center the frnt sight when closing. Doesn't add length when closed-lines up with barrel end.
    Cons:You have to remove it before removing spring etc. for cleaning.
    Wish it were rubber.

    Installed in just a few seconds. Seat the extension with a firm rap on the heel. Helps align the sight for folding as a bonus. Wish it was available in different sizes for larger shooters.

    Just an echo of other reviews that it is a great part but should come standard. As an option it would be nice if it had some limbsaver type cushion. I guess cut to fit and glued in place wet suit material might do the trick??????

    Does exactly what it's suppose to, went on in seconds and gives me that little extra LOP that I needed. Just wish it was made out of rubber, for some reason I thought it was but it's not it's made out of a zytel style polymer.

    The extension is a great idea...if it actually stayed on the stock. Mine falls off regularly,forget trying to actually shoot with it attatched because you're lucky if you get through half a mag without it coming off.

    This is easy to install, it just snaps into place; and it adds protection for the sfront site, because the front sight snaps down into it. For a big guy, it's a must have to make the stock long enough to fit my body.

    it does nothing for felt recoil as it is all hard plastic... the best thing it does is protect the front sight when its closed...snaps on doesnt come off easily.

    Just got mine and it helps sighting the target faster. It is a must unless your young or have short arms.

    Absolutely necessary to get a good cheek weld for a good sight picture, but still not long enough for someone like me with long arms. Can't Kel Tec develop an adjustable stock extension?

    I love the Extension, but found the instructions are pretty bad.

    It installs much easier if you slide it up onto the stock from the bottom. When it stops - about 1/2" from full install, give it a Rap and it will seat.

    pops right on makes it easier for me to aim best part is when folding the rifle it keeps the gun in line. Without it it would sometimes go to one side or the other but not anymore.Dont force it up pop it straight on. glad I got it.

    I found that on my .40 it would come loose with use. Also I had to remove it to clean the gun as the bolt didn't clear the extension. A good idea, not so good implimentation.
    Should have been a part of the rifle from the beginning.

    This is an excellent addition to your Sub 2000. Frankly I'm surprised that this wasn't simply part of the rifle to begin with, but as it's not I strongly encourage anyone who owns a Sub to purchase this stock extension.

    No fitting issues at all. Pretty sure it's made out of the same material as the rest of the polymer parts (stock, grip, forearm, etc). I like how the front sight sits in it, seems better protected.

    The part attached in 2 secs.Starting at the bottom edge of the butt stock slide it UP. Fits nice and tight.

    Re review above, the springs only provide fore and aft tension, the alignment along the taper is set by the nested geometry of the lip. The stock extension DOES aid in folding alignment, and will not slip off until removed for cleaning. Great addition!

    "..makes locking of weapon flawless"? Two parts of a folding gun don't line up correctly to begin with?? This extension is held on with a metal spring clip that expands and grips the sides of a tapered butt plate? Think about that!!

    this is a part that should have been incorporated into the rifle in the first place!it makes locking of weapon flawless and doesn`t interfere with any accessories.it also gives a better placement for sighting of rifle.
