    Its light & fits loose a few wraps of copper wire between the gas block and the spring clip pulls it tight.

    Para-cord wrapped in 3 holes on ends & each side tied tight makes it solid.

    Its not perfect but I'd buy it again.

    255 characters isn't enough to tell you how terrible this product is so I'll just say the basics. With a pistol grip attached, the bottom half of the fore end WILL POP OFF with little effort. I will be returning this product

    This forend is cheap and flimsy. If you put a foregrip on it, the bottom half will pop right off the rifle if you grab it a certain way. The only way to get this forend to be sturdy is epoxy it in place permanently.

    Looks great. Good fit. Easy to install on my SU-16CA. Much more practical than the bi-pod front stock. If you have a sling don't forget to order the sling stud along with the forend.

    I traded folding legs for a great look and and a lower rail. Well worth it my Su-16a needed this part I'm very happy I got it.

    Easy to install. Lets barrel cool down faster due to air flow thru holes (bipod forend encloses barrel, gives heat nowhere to go). Looks a lot better too. Highly recommended!

    Perfect accessory for SU 16C. Only took 20 minutes to install (but then again I read the install instructions), perfect fit (not loose at all). My gun looks even more BA.

    This is a nice addition but the front spring steel clip could be better. Threading Para chord through the holes on the forend will tighten it up and hold the two halves together.

    Pretty easy to install. Looks awsome with my foregrip flashlight combo. The bottom will separate a tad from the top piece unfortunately, but not a big deal.

    Looks and feels great! Nice and sturdy. Took maybe 25 minutes to install properly, no shaving or adjusting at all. If this proves challenging for you, you might want to consider switching to handguns...

    I purchased the forend for my Alpha model. it was a pain to install, because i couldnt get the conversion ring over the barrel. Took the forend to a gunsmith, and it is now installed, and i love every minute of it

    I bought mine a whille back from a gun show. took about an hour to install with minor modifications, once together it seemed like it would want to come off if I installed a fore grip, pulled it back apart and used some cyno glue

    Awesome job. Love it. I agree it takes 30 to an hour or so. Directions leave more to be desired. But its a good fit. No shaving of any material required! Fits all standard grips/accessories.

    Once I got this installed it is nice and tight and looks good. It took me 2 1/2 hours to shave off enough to make it fit. Unsure why it isnt to spec, but it fits good now.

    Two parts are not used after you take the bipod off (172 & 288). Easy to add picatinny rails on top half of it. Magpul Angled Fore Grip will not fit.

    I installed the forend on my SU-16C in under 30 minutes. It looks great and really upgrades the feel of the gun. Added a grip to the compact forend and it handles very nice. I rate this upgrade a 4.5 and only took a half point off for the $10 shipping!
    Forend rocks-once you get it on.

    I installed the compact forend on my SU16-CA today. Fairly easy to switch out; looks and feels great. The instruction sheet leaves very much to be desired; more photos & clear steps would be helpful.
